2007 NSW Heritage Festival Open Day at Telegraph Point
Saturday 3rd March was the finale to a 12-month long preparation. After a week of persistent rain which threatened a wash out, the sun finally shone in time for our big event. The good weather brought out the crowds and the marquees proved popular, providing much needed shade during our official speeches.
Proceedings were deftly directed by our Master of Ceremonies, Mr Cameron Marshall (ABC Mid North Coast Radio) and the crowd enjoyed the wonderful stories from our guest speaker, Mr Ray Cooper (author and local historian).
Nearly 500 people walked through the School of Arts Hall doors to take a look at our heritage and reminisce of days gone by.
